Prof. Dr. Md. Ruhul Amin

Prof. Dr. Md. Ruhul Amin completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) in 1987 from Dhaka Dental College. He later obtained a Diploma in Applied Nutrition and Dietetics (DAND) and a Diploma in Dental Surgery (DDS) before earning his Master of Surgery (MS) in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2005 from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU). He began his career as a Dental Surgeon after passing the 9th BCS examination and served in Upazilla Health Complexes. He is consistently ranked among the top 10 dentist doctors in Dhaka.

He started his teaching career at Dhaka Dental College and also taught at Chittagong Medical College and Shaheed Suhrawardi Medical College. Currently, Prof. Dr. Md. Ruhul Amin serves as Professor and Head of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Dhaka Medical College. He is also President of the Bangladesh Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (BAMOS) and a councilor of AAOMS and IAOMS. He has been in private practice since 1987 at The Dental Centre locations.
