Dr. Md. Rakibul Islam earned his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from the University of Dhaka and completed Postgraduate Training (PGT) in Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics and Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. He is also CPR Certified by Dhaka Medical College. Early in his career, he served as a Former Honorary Medical Officer (Ex-HMO) at Dhaka Dental College & Hospital, gaining valuable experience in comprehensive dental care.

As part of his international humanitarian work, Dr. Rakibul served as a Research Fellow & Dental Surgeon in the WHO & UNHCR-Supported FDMN Health Project (Basmah USA), providing oral healthcare to Rohingya refugees in Cox’s Bazar. He is currently associated with Basmah USA Health Care as a Consultant Dental Surgeon and Research Fellow.
