Dr. Lutful Aziz graduated from Dhaka Medical College in 1985 and later earned a PhD in Anaesthesia and Pain Medicine from Japan in 1995 under a government scholarship. After completing his FCPS fellowship in 1997, he served as Associate Professor at Banghabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University, where he coordinated postgraduate studies in anaesthesia, analgesia, and intensive care.

Throughout his career, Dr. Lutful Aziz has presented more than 75 invited lectures at international conferences and authored over 45 peer‑reviewed publications. He sits on the editorial boards of four national and international journals and is the founding President of the Bangladesh Society for Study of Pain, reflecting his leadership in pain medicine.
